Last night's festivities
Thank you so much to all those who spent their considerable time and effort in organizing last night's Class of ‘65 reunion.
It was an evening to remember and was made even more special by the large turnout. I don’t think we realized at the time how unique our high school class really was, but last night's truly warm greetings, hugs and laughter with our classmates certainly reinforced the special bond created 50+ years ago.
Again, thank you. Last night will always hold a special place in my heart.

50th Reunion
I want to second what Ruth said. The Committee especially Susan did an absolutely fabulous job..I thought everything was spectacular from the school tour to the happy hour at the Santa Fe to the event last night at the Dupont Country Club. This reunion will remain in my memory forever..I loved the way everyone interacted by talking and laughing together.
I wish we could get together once a month; that is how much i love all of you and treasure your friendship. Marcia told me that I should not be sad today and i should keep this email upbeat, but i cannot help on this day after not to feel a little bittersweet because we must all return to our respective lives. But i know when some time passes, this Reunion will be one of my prized memories.
So I wish you all good heath. The Reunion reinforced for me how fleeting life is. I will think of each and everyone of you as among my closest friends.
i know i have not always been the best at getting back to people, but my 50th Reunion resolution is to do better at keeping in touch with friends and family. So i would welcome staying in touch with anyone who wants to do so You should always feel free to contact me at my email address above or on my cell phone at 302-438-4429. I would very much welcome keeping in touch and knowing what you are doing.

thoughts about the reunion
I awoke at 6:30 AM Sunday, and couldn’t get back to sleep. A little like Eliza Doolittle in “My Fair Lady”… without the dancing. My head was exploding with thoughts and warm feelings about the reunion. It has been, unexpectedly, a very emotional couple of days for me. I was delighted to see everyone who came and disappointed not to see others who couldn’t, or chose not to, attend. Maybe next time… and I hope there is a next time… for all of us.
Dennis made some heartfelt and emotional remarks about how the class became his family during very difficult personal times. I realized last night that the love I poured into building the website came back to me 10-fold or more at the reunion and made it all worthwhile. You're my second family too.
Stay well, all.

Reunion
Thanking everyone who did such a fine job putting this Reunion65 together for us. Most graciously appreciated by all. Everyone had a great time after all these years.
I loved P.S.duPont HS-Dynamiters!!!!!!!! With all my heart & soul. It was the finest school around at that time in our lives & I was very proud to be a student there. I would tell all who would listen. You know what, people agreed with me even when they went to other HS. P.S.duPont HS WAS THE VERY BEST!
Truly, it was wonderful seeing everyone after all these years. So Happy I came to see all the beautiful faces That were also gleaming in the atmosphere of the festivities. I'm sorry I rambled on & not real good with words! Thank You All for one of the Best nights in my Life. Love you All!!!!!!!❤️

Re: Last night's festivities
The weekend couldn’t have been better. The approach of the reunion led me to think about the teachers who made a particular impact on me: Miss Bryson, Amy Wocko, Sarah Shad and more. They influenced me in ways that have stayed with me for more than a half century. Although my only contact with Mr. Laird was as a member of the pit band during the shows, his presence brought to mind the entire faculty of PS. I'm grateful for the efforts of all the classmates who put the reunion together.
On a somber note, I thought a lot about the classmates no longer with us, particularly my cousin, Lea Silverman. May their memories be for a blessing.

Re: Last night's festivities
Truer words could not be said! It was a very nice weekend. I loved reconnecting with everyone and watching everyone interact with each other. In high school I had been such an introvert and I now realize that I missed so much of the wonderful personalities of so many of my classmates because of that. In many ways, it was like meeting some people for the first time and in reality even better than the first time around 50 years ago. I too saw the uniqueness of each and every one of us. We were all so special in our own ways and have done well in enhancing all of our skills throughout the past 50 years. Hail to the 1965 Dynamiters!

Re: Reunion followup
I am still a bit emotionally overwhelmed by the reunion weekend, something I didn’t expect. It was so wonderful to see and interact with so many interesting people. As those who have had children know, an 18-year old is like a zygote in the lifecycle. When many of us last interacted, we were adults-in-waiting. Seeing and talking to so many about their lives was very special!
Thank you so much to those who organized the weekend, many of whom have “day jobs”, and few who live near Wilmington.
For those who didn’t send in photos for Then and Now, I hope you will and that David will continue to grow that part of the site. It would be terrific to put your now beautiful faces against the “developing picture” we all were in 1965.
Stay well and in touch!!

50th Reunion
Like many of the comments that I have already seen, I had an exceptional experience at the reunion. It was very obvious how excited everyone was during my many conversations. Rekindling relationships with friends is something that I am anxious to proceed with in the near future. Even though I have not seen many of my classmates for many years, I was very surprised to hear the things that we still have in common and and continue to this day. I would personally like to express my sincere appreciation to the many people that took part in planning this class reunion, as it was exceptional. Thank you (and keep it up, please.)

I'm not sure I got to hug everyone of you, so it is imperative that all of us get together again. I was amazed to learn about your lives. The successes, the not so successful, the health issues, the wives, (five???), husbands, the children, grand and great. All told in moments. Thank you for coming, for sharing, for helping, for having a great time. This one I won’t forget not matter what. Love, Lisette

50th Reunion
As everyone has been writing it was memorable weekend. I also want to thank the committee and all the hard work they put into making it so enjoyable. It was nice to have conversation with your peers and not have to discuss medications and aches and pains that we all experience. Who would have thought all we needed was more Happy Hours when we were in school and how wonderful school would have been 50 years ago. Thank you again to the class of ‘65 for a GREAT WEEKEND.

Reunion
Used my new favorite mug this morning and it made my day – full of wonderful memories, old and new, all together in a glorious mishmash! Thanks so much to everyone who put together the perfect weekend. And to Dave Kristol for promising to keep updating the website- be careful, Dave, you may have just started a new full time career!
I'd also like to thank the “old” committee, who persevered through 3 reunions in the Dark Ages and had to contend with postage, mass mailings, printing and duplicating, not to mention long distance telephone charges! Thanks to them, we had a nice core of stupendous people to build this year's reunion around. Now we can all dig into old address books and failing memories a try to pull in more of the missing classmates. They missed a great party, but can still be included in cyberspace. And no one has to travel to stay in touch!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Reunion
Such a great 50th reunion. It was so wonderful to see so many friends that I think of often and have not seen for years. We were so lucky to have the memories of our wonderful teen years to cherish forever. I thank all who made it an unforgettable evening. Thanks for entrusting me with the class banner. I will treasure & keep it safe until used again in 2025. I wish you all good health & happiness until then.

Reunion thoughts
What a wonderful time I had this past weekend! Thanks to Pat Goldstein Simon for alerting me about the reunion and putting me in touch with Sue Kleinbard Lipton, who I had not seen in 50 years. And, many thanks to Dave Kristol, Lisette Woloshin and all who were busy putting this event together. Special thanks to my best friend Lynn Buckmaster Goldman and her “right hand man”, Art, for shuttling me to and from the airport and feeding and housing me for the weekend!
The tour of the school brought back many fond memories (we Leader Corps alumni were sad we couldn’t see our old room, but the door was locked) . And the Happy Hour at Santa Fe was a great addition, allowing more time for socializing. I found it hard to sleep each night all weekend, as faces and conversations flashed through my mind. Saturday evening came and went too fast! I even met some classmates I didn’t know were classmates! I already miss you all, and wish we could see each other more often.
Perhaps we can get together for a 55th?!?! Hope so!
