Class of '65 Reunion Party 2023

This year's reunion started in a much less dramatic fashion than last year's. No smoke in the house, no fire department outside with flashing lights.

Amy (Applebaum) Glazier brought a bunch of memorabilia. She explained that she had never opened the drawer of Richie's nightstand until recently, and there she found all sorts of mementos from our high school years: fraternity pictures, some elementary school class photos, pictures of the basketball team, and issues of The Clarion, of course.

I had the best of intentions to provide a Zoom session for out-of-town classmates, but the first announcement of the link did not go out due to a technical error on my part. I was able to correct that and send out a second link, but I think some people gave up. Nevertheless, Bob Brown, Art and Lynn (Buckmaster) Goldman, Dickie Codor, and Dave Polluck were able to put in an appearance. Nancy (Belfer) Green just squeaked in at the end.

Now that I know the ways I can screw up, I think I'll get it right next time.

Speaking of next time, if we keep to scheduling these events on the third Saturday in October, the date would be October 19, 2024. You'll hear about it some time next year.

As usual, there was excellent food and wonderful conversation. Thanks again to Jeff Weiner for hosting at his house.
